We are excited to continue our mission of empowerment along with promoting networking, community, and amazing science! We welcome allies to join in making organic chemistry more inclusive.

EWOC 2025 will take place on Thursday and Friday,

June 12 and 13, at AbbVie in Chicago Illinois

  • Day 1 – Thursday, June 12, 2025, will be virtual (optional viewing space for Meet Our Sponsors sessions at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort)
  • Day 2 – Friday, June 13, 2025, will be hybrid with on-site and live streaming from AbbVie
  • Registration Fees:

    Students/Postdocs/Trainees = $10 for Virtual Only; $30 for Hybrid in-person
    All others = $50 for Virtual Only; $150 for Hybrid in-person
    If you are currently unemployed and are seeking full time professional employment, or have been financially impacted by recent events and would like to register free of cost, please contact us at ewoc2025@ewochem.org.

    The Midwest EWOC Chapter is inviting EWOC attendees to an event on Saturday June 14th 9 AM: A team-based scavenger hunt!

    Plan to stay in the Chicago area 9-10:30 AM on Saturday if interested.

Logistics

There are still rooms available at the Marriott Lincolnshire. It is highly advisable to stay there, to take advantage of the watch party and shuttles to/from AbbVie. If you book after May 12th, please fill out this form.

Poster Abstract Submission

The POSTER SESSION will be IN-PERSON on Fri, June 13, at AbbVie, Chicago, IL. The Poster Abstract Submission window has closed as of Friday, May 9, 2025. 

Abstract acceptances will be emailed by Monday, May 19, 2025. At that time, you will be provided with more information about poster preparation (poster size, etc).
